REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree. Master's degree preferred. Three years experience
negotiating, preparing and processing grant and contract proposals.
Demonstrated knowledge of federal grant or contract regulations. Strong
interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills necessary.
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with database, spreadsheet and
word-processing programs.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Pre-award responsibility in all aspects of grants and contract
administration including: identification of funding sources; proposal
preparation and submission; negotiation of all terms and conditions of
grant/contract award including subcontracts; and establishment and
monitoring of grant/contract accounts with appropriate spending
authorizations.  Post-award responsibility includes: assisting faculty in
meeting grant/contract requirements; liaison between the faculty and the
funding agency; correspondence with funding agencies; establishment and
monitoring of a appropriate audit trails; maintain and monitor compliance
requirements; oversight of expenditure review and coordination with
departments as appropriate; and administrative close-out of completed
grants/contracts.

SALARY: $30,200 annually
