Position Title:Program Coordinator (Associate Staff-Contract Position)
Category: Associate Staff, 12 months, full time, 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:

The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate National Science
Foundation Alliance for Minority Participation Program for the
Center for Minorities in Science and Engineering and the College of
Computer, Math and Physical Sciences.  Duties include overseeing summer
Bridge program; supervising and training summer program staff; advising
undergraduate students; assistance with management and administration of
NSF
grant; report preparation; design and maintenance of website and other
student activities.

Qualifications
Must have completed, at least a bachelor's degree, by June 1998,
preferably in an academic discipline related to computer science,
engineering or the social sciences.  Experience working with students in
higher education and/or grant administration, and World Wide Web
development is strongly desirable.  Must have excellent interpersonal
and communications skills (written and oral); be able to work well in a
collegial relationship with faculty, staff, and students and be
flexible, yet highly motivated.
Must have proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and graphics
software.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Benefits: 22 days annual leave and 3 personal days; 15 paid holidays;
15 days sick leave, and health insurance.
