The Cooper Health System conveniently located near center city Philadelphia is
the
premier provider of health services, medical education and clinical research in
southern
New Jersey. Cooper physicians are engaged in a wide spectrum of clinical and
bio-medical research programs. Clinical research emphasis is in the fields of
heart
disease, cancer, infectious disease, nutrition, trauma, and immunologic
disorders in
both adults and children. Funding is provided by national and state agencies,
private
foundations and corporations.
Position: Senior Grant Analyst
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will possess knowledge of OMB Circulars and regulations
involving
federal, state, and private agencies. Position requires 3 to 7 years experience
in a
postaward health care and/or university research administration. Bachelors
degree in
finance, accounting, or business administration is required (MBA a plus) and
experience
with Microsoft or Lotus products.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will have primary responsibility of post-award tracking, analyze
grant
payroll, prepare invoices for various agencies, and authorize/track
disbursements
according to budget. Other duties include assisting grant manager in
preparation for
the A-133 audit, personnel matters, pre-award proposals, etc. This individual
will have
excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of
administration.
