 Sponsored Projects Education and Review Officer (Pr.Admin.Analyst I)
 Minimum Salary: $45,200/Yr.

 DUTIES: Plan, develop, write, coordinate and conduct a comprehensive
 training and development program addressing pre-award, award and
 post-award issues to ensure the application of knowledge on the job and to
 advance participants understanding and application of the concepts and
 technical aspects of the Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and the
 administration of sponsored projects. Monitor, interpret and analyze
 changes in external regulations and legislation, and conduct analytical
 studies of the impact of compliance with federal regulations, CAS, state
 legislation and University policy. Advise, interpret, assist and provide
 technical and specialized consultative services related to the
 administration and management of sponsored project to school officials,
 department administrators, faculty and central administrative units to
 ensure fulfillment of sponsored projects responsibilities and obligations.

 REQUIREMENTS: Extensive knowledge of external regulations including, but
 not limited to, OMB Circulars A-21, A-110, and A-133, Cost Accounting
 Standards, Federal Demonstration Partnership policies, Federal agency
 policies and regulations (PHS, NSF, NASA, DOE, DOD, etc.), Code of Federal
 Regulations, and Federal Acquisition Regulations and demonstrated ability
 to interpret, explain and apply these regulations as evidenced through
 significant experience; extensive knowledge of University and campuswide
 policies, procedures, systems and practices. Extensive experience and
 demonstrated ability to develop training material and manuals; conducts
 reviews and audits of proposals and awards; working knowledge of personal
 computers including Microsoft word for Windows, Netscape Navigator 3.0 (or
 similar web browser), Microsoft Powerpoint, and Microsoft Windows 3.1 or
 higher; effective problem-solving techniques with strong analytical
 skills; excellent oral and written communication skills.

 DESIRABLE: Master's degree in a related field and six or more years
 experience in research administration and or an equivalent combination of
 education and experience. Working knowledge of CC:Mail, Lotus Organizer,
 Microsoft Excel and other productivity software.
