We are in the process of re-evaluating some of our processes in preparation
for converting our grants and contracts accounting system to Oracle.  One
of the issues we are currently reviewing is "expanded authorities." We have
heard that other Universities do not require formal re-budgeting on grants
administered under expanded authorities.  We would be interesting in
knowing how other Universities administer rebudgeting under expanded
authorities and to obtain written policies and procedures for grants
administration under expanded authorities if available.
