Position Title: Program Coordinator (Associate Staff-Contract Position)

Category:       Associate Staff, 12 months, full time, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:  The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate

National Science Foundation Alliance for Minority
Participation Program for the Center for Minorities in
Science and Engineering and the College of Computer, Math and
the Physical Sciences.  Duties include overseeing summer
Bridge program; supervising and training summer program
staff; advising undergraduate students; assistance with
management and administration of NSF grant; report
preparation; design and maintenance of website and other
student activities.

Qualifications:    Must hold a bachelor's degree, preferably in an
academic
discipline related to computer science and engineering or
counseling and student personnel.  Experience working in an
academic environment and/or grant administration, and World
Wide Web development is strongly desirable.  Must have
excellent interpersonal and communications skills, be able to
work well in a collegial relationship with faculty, staff and
students and be flexible, yet highly motivated.  Must have
proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and graphics
software.

Salary:         Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
