Boy!  An e-mail spam is really going to make those folks want to
support PBS and NPR.  How about a thoughtful, personal letter from
all of us PBS/NPR supporters,  instead?

And how about we stick to research administration?  NPR and PBS are
great causes, but I don't think RESADM-L ought to get bogged
in boosting first this cause and then that cause and then
whatever other cause happens to be a favorite of someone.
