I have been asked to gather information on the pros and cons of a research
foundation to handle sponsored projects for a public Research I
institution.

I know this topic has beeen covered on the List before. If anyone has a
compilation of responses, related material, or views they would like to
share, I would be most grateful to recieve material in any convenient
medium.
