GRANTS INFORMATION SPECIALIST
OFFICE OF SPONSORED PROGRAMS
RESPONSIBILTIIES: This is an 80% position with the possibility of
becoming afull time position. Position availability is contigent upon
availability of funds. The purpose of this position is to assist the
Director of Sponsored Programs in increasing external funding for the
University. Duties include, but are not limited to: maintaining a
comprehensive library of government, corporate, and foundation sponsors;
assisting faculty with the development of proposals; publishing the
Sponsored Programs Newsletter on the Web; maintaining the Sponsored
Program Web Page; and assisting with workshops.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
Preference will be given to degrees in the humanities, social sciences, or
sciences. Should show expetise in comptuer applciations, Internet and Web
Pages. One to three years experience in a research office, development
office, or public relations office preferred.
SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with experience and education.
