Children's Hospital and Health Center (CHHC), San Diego, California is
soliciting consulting services to assist our organization in developing a
comprehensive ten-year research strategic plan.  We are seeking an individual
with senior leadership skills to facilitate in-depth discussions and creative
questioning with both internal personnel including, but not limited to,
physician, nursing and administrative leaders, and external community leaders
representing academic and private biotech institutions, other health care
institutions and community service agencies.  This effort will result in a
"blue ribbon report" and presentation to our Board of Trustees by April 1998.

The initial process to accomplish this time-sensitive endeavor is the
completion of the Request for Qualifications.  To be considered, we require
that requested information be returned by October 1, 1997.  Bidders may be
invited to our institution to present their initial proposal and to meet with
our administrative leadership team to further clarify and discuss this
project.
