The University of North Florida is seeking qualified candidates for the
position of SENIOR ACCOUNTANT. This position is responsible for
managing a variety of activities associated with the highly specialized
administration of grants and contracts within the Division of Sponsored
Research and Training. Under the direct supervision of the Associate
Director, this position provides fiscal and program support to the
professional staff in the post-award administration of contracts and
grants.
Responsibilities include:
--inputting and updating fiscally related information in data monitoring
system, state accounting software, and spreadsheets
--processing monthly fiscal analysis of grants and contracts and
providing Analysis Statement to PIs and grant staff
--preparing periodic reports, invoices, and cash requests as required by
various funding agencies
--preparing and submitting progress reports of each project's fiscal and
administrative activities to DSRT staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in appropriate area of specialization and three years of
experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical
training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Other considerations: strong accounting experience in a grants and
contracts environment.
Salary: $932.06 Bi-weekly
