SENIOR ADMINISTRATOR
This position will be responsible for providing financial and
administrative leadership for an academic department of psychiatry
located in the University Hospital, VA, CMHC and other locations.
Over 300 full/part-time faculty, 10 administrative staff members,
a $38 million departmental budget that includes $20 million in
grants and contracts. In addition to the medical student
education program, the department runs one of the largest
residency and fellowship training programs in the country.
The position requires a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Health
Care, Public or Business Administration or related field and a
minimum of five (5) years recent administrative experience (a
Master's degree and leadership within an academic healthcare or
psychiatric program is preferred). Management/administrative
experience should include: government grants and contracts;
managed care; medical research; clinical services and personnel.
Must have demonstrated ability to supervise, set prioritites and
