Please share the results with the list.  Primary barrier I hear about is the
amount of time it takes to get the department and campus approvals on
grant applications.

We are planning to conduct a survey of faculty and other researchers at our
institution to identify what barriers they believe exist to performing
research on our campus, including those encountered during the process of
obtaining funding.  Has anyone out there performed such a survey, and if so,
what were your experiences?
