Job Description:

Serve as the IRB Coordinator under the supervision of the IRB
Supervisor. Assist the institution in complying with the human subject
regulatory requirements associated with the hospital's research
projects. . Advise researchers in the preparation of research
applications. Assist IRB in its deliberations concerning the regulatory,
ethical and research design issues of project applications. Document
correspondence to researchers concerning IRB review and disposition of
projects. Help plan and implement policies and administer activities to
meet federal regulations, state law and institutional policy concerning
human involvement in research projects. Participate in the development
of educational and training material.

Qualifications: BA and at least 3 years of IRB administrative
responsibility. Strong organizational, written and oral communication
skills are essential. Recent experience in academic/hospital setting is
preferred.
