Re: Grant Writers Liane Reif-Lehrer 06 Jun 1997 08:53 EST

Dear Ms. Kaplan:

I am curious to know who is helping you with grant-proposal writing if you
feel comfortable giving out this information. Are you involved with
government grants or private foundation grants. I am a scientist (Biochem)
who left academia about 12 years ago to do free-lance consulting in a
variety of things -- mostly related to writing grant applications --
mostly for large government grants. I would like to meet other people who
are doing that kind of work and who have a research science back ground.
By way of introduction, see my email "blurb" below. I come to Chicago 4
times a year to teach a class in proposal writing for a group of
physicians. My next trip will be in July. If your consultant is willing
and interested and if we can find a mutually convenient time, perhaps we
could meet for a drink in July.

Sincerely,

Liane Reif-Lehrer, PhD
