For those institutions who conduct research with NCHRP, could you please
provide me with the name of the insurance carrier that you use to cover
yourselves from liability and with whom you name NCHRP as an additional
insured?

For those conducting research with NCHRP who have NOT obtained insurance to
protect yourself from loss should a claim be brought against NCHRP and/or
your institution, could you explain how you are managing the risk?  Also,
how you are managing the requirement that NHRP be named as an additional
insured?

I consider this a very serious issue so if I am missing some piece of
information or have misinterpreted the NCHRP clauses, please also provide
that info.  If you wish for more confidentiality, please communicate with
me directly and I will summarize the responses in general terms for the
list at a later date.
