reverse site visit expenses Charlie Hathaway 08 Apr 1997 10:17 EST

Hi-
A question. Hypothetical. NIH is about to fund a large program
project grant (e.g. P50) but requests a site visit. However,
instead of wanting to visit the institutional site, the feds want the
investigators to come to Washington (=reverse site visit). So, how
is this trip (which may include 15 people from several institutions)
paid for? CAN THE EXPENSES BE CHARGED TO INDIRECT
COSTS? All comments will be appreciated.
Incidentally, calls to NIH failed to produce a definitive answer..so
far.
