Allegheny Health, Education and Research Foundatin (AHERF), parent
corporation of Allegheny General Hospital, Allegheny University of the
Health Sciences, and other multi-site healthcare facilities, has the

Post-Award Administrator/Grant Accountant:
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or
Business Management with a minimum of two years accounting and
three years experience in post award sponsored program administration
in a research enviornmnet.  Also requires knowledge of federal agencies
regulation/procedures, FAR, CAS, GAAP, and OMB Circulars governing
grants management.  Must have strong interpersonal and oral/written
communication skills and have a high degree of discretion in dealing with
confidential matters.  Advanced proficiency in Lotus 1-2-3 or EXCEL,
communication software, and automated general ledger systems
required.  Knowledge of 4th generation language and programming
preferred.  Must have demonstrated abilities to work independently and
handle multiple priorities in a fast paced, detail oriented enviornment.

Senior Level Financial Analyst
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or
Business Management (Masters Degree in finance preferred) with five
years accounting/finance experience.  Also requires a strong analytical
ability to interpret data gathered, a knowledge of budget and fainance
methodologies and principles, an understanding of generally accepted
accounting principles, strong interpersonal and oral/written
communication skills and have a high degree of discretion in dealing with
confidential matters.  Advanced proficiency in Lotus 1-2-3 and FoxPro
required with knowledge of the Trendstar system preferred.  Must have
demonstrated abilities to work independently and handle multiple priorities
in a fast paced, detail oriented enviornment.

Administrative Secretary
This position exists to provide support to the Director and professional
staff of the Academic Finance Department. The incumbant must be
proficient with Wordperfect, Lotus 1-2-3 or Microsoft Office.  Strong
organizational and communication skills are required.  Must be able to
manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work with minimal supervision,
and have a high degree of discretion in dealing with confidential matters.
Minimum three years experience required.
