Funding Opportunities Specialist
The Office of Research Support at Duke University has an opening for a
Funding Opportunities Specialist. Responsibilities include assisting
faculty and graduate students in locating sources of funding for
research, training and program development; coordinating
institution-wide fellowship competition; organizing and/or presenting
workshops and presentations to the Duke community on funding
opportunities or proposal development; editing faculty and graduate
student funding proposals; and assisting the Director with various
writing projects. Knowledge of research administration desired.
Internet ability and computer experience a must. Excellent writing and
communication skills required. A minimum of a bachelors degree and
three years related experience required; advanced degree preferred.
