Re: Clinical Trials Michael Odza 12 Mar 1997 19:21 EST

Dear Jayne,

Do you know CenterWatch, the e-mail service and web site (see sample e-mail
letter below)? It admits that it is far from comprehensive, but with 3,000
trials listed it may still be the largest collection of clinical trials
extant. Here is what the web site has on MS:

Summary: Study for the prevention of multiple sclerosis

This study is designed to determine if treatment of first demyelinating
episode in patients at high risk for MS is beneficial in delaying
development of clinically definite MS or in decreasing disability.

Patients must be seen within 14 days of symptoms of first demyelinating
episode (optic neuritis, INO, paraparesis).

Patients who have been diagnosed with MS will be excluded from this study.

Contact:

[Then it has an on-line enrollment form]
