The SRA Midwest Section is hosting its Spring meeting in Minneapolis,=20
Minnesota April 13-16.  The Radisson Hotel South Plaza Tower is the=20
conference hotel and has rooms available for $86.00, single; and $96.00,=20
double.  Reservations must be made by March 22, 1997 (800-333-3333).  The=
=20
meeting registration cost is $175 if postmarked by March 25 and $200=20

The theme of this year=92s meeting, =93Research Administration in the Fut=

Tense,=94 reflects the way research administrators must think about their=

jobs.  The meeting will begin with a keynote address by Dr. Jefferey J.=20
Goldstein, Director for Space Science Research at the Challenger Center=20
in Washington, DC.  Dr. Goldstein is an inspring speaker and true=20
futurist.  He will also be involved in some our sessions throughout the=20
meeting.  The workshops and sessions have been designed to serve the=20
needs of research administrators from all types of institutions (medical,=
=20
predominantly undergraduate, research-intensive) and with all types of=20
responsbilities (pre-award, post-award, financial, departmental,=20
administrative, technical).
