SALARY $20,118 - $26,040 DOE

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage ORCA proposal database.  Performs and/or supervises others in data
entry function.  Analyzes new proposal database for performance
requirements; makes recommendations for additions/changes.  Reviews
software failure, identifies steps to resolve problems.  Works with
Sponsored Program Officers (SPOs) and Manager, Preaward in overseeing
proposal processing function; responds to requests for assistance in
proposal processing requirements of the University and Sponsor, and
analyzes and resolves problems in the proposal processing and performs
research on information available and how to retrieve it.  Runs
specialized reports as requested.  Performs research of historical
proposal /award information.  Assists SPOs and other ORCA staff in
proposal processing matters (researching budget and/or other information,
review proposals, etc.).  Confers with and advised faculty, staff and
student on technical aspects of proposal processing functions.  Provides
supports to the manager, Preaward and the Director, ORCA.  Reports to the
manager, Preaward.  May coordinate, monitor or supervise others.
 Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Computers, Business, Administration, or related
discipline and one year related experience, OR, five years of related
work experience doing comparable tasks, OR, and equivalent combination of
education and/or experience form which comparable knowledge, skills and
abilities have been achieved.  Demonstrated communication skills.

DESIRED:
Skill in developing and designing computer report formats.  Knowledge of
computer applications and /or operations.  Knowledge of data entry and/or
data management techniques.  Good analytic skills, a plus.
