Aargh!  It's Friday afternoon and I give up.  I've been looking
 for success-rate data over the past couple of years for NIH AREA
 applicants (I have a faculty member interested in the
 Musculoskeletal Institute (NIAMSD) who needs some encouragement).

 I know I had something in my hands not long ago.  Can't find it.
 Can't find any such data on the NIH web site.  Can someone suggest
 a strategy (or, better yet, suggest an answer!)?
