Re: Misconduct in Research Committees

Concerns about Misconduct in Science here are channelled to the standing
committee of the Faculty Council, the Committee on Research. From there an ad
hoc Inquiry Panel is formed, especially constituted with the particular
situation in mind, that may lead to an Investigation Committee, likewise
specially constituted. So ours, too, is rather generic nomenclature -- if
necessary we could put Misconduct in Science in front, but I've not seen any
need so far. Given a preference, I'd like to steer clear of either Misconduct
in *Science* or *Research* because it really should apply to scholarship,
ethics, honor, generally.
