After sending out information to approximately 45 researchers over the
past several months, we have only had 20 people establish SMARTS
accounts.  I'm getting ready to send out a letter of inquiry and perhaps a
survey to those who requested information, but never established an
account to find out WHY.

My questions to the list are:

1) How do you encourage and promote the use of SMARTS among your
faculty?  For example, flyers, on-site training, etc.

2)  What feedback, if any,  have you received from your faculty on
SMARTS?

3) Have any of you conducted a formal survey of SMARTS?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  Personally, our office
likes SMARTS, but we need to enhance public awareness and use of
the system in order to rationalize its future continuation.
