This is in response to inquiries relating to COS.
We, at the University of Connecticut have been very plesased with the
services offered by COS. The staff members are a pleasure to work
with. We find that this is the only way we can
maintain a viable database of our faculty expertise. The fund source
information is in addition to other databases that offers similar
services. Our biggest difficulty is our problem. We just can not get
all of the faculty to participate. As a matter of fact, I would love
to hear from other institions who use COS what percentage of their
faculty participate and how do they encourage this.
