This is product of the National Academy of Sciences Committee on Science,
Engineering, and Public Policy. Title is "On Being A Scientist: Responsible
Conduct in Research." Authors give permission for copying for educational
purposes, or it can be accessed via Web by faculty and students. It covers
a range of ethical concerns, including authorship, error and negligence, and
other not-so-standard topics and has exercises for students.
