Sponsored Program Administrative Systems Project
Senior Programmer/Analyst
Strong Preference given to candidates with a working knowledge of the
management information requirements of the sponsored programs management
function, including development of proposals, planning, budgeting, and
administration of awards. Requires good communications skills and the ability
to work closely along-side users. The ability to manage multiple priorities
while maintaining initiative and creativity is essential. Requires a college
degree with a minimum of 3 years of administrative systems experience, or the
equivalent.
Requires software development experience with modern relational database
technologies, preferably ORACLE. Requires experience in the design and
development or implementation of complex business information systems.
Requires prior experience with personal computers and familiarity with data
extract, report writer and spreadsheet software tools. Preference given to
applicants: with SQL experience; prior experience with client-server computing
environments and exposure to software development using web technologies.
