Sandoz recently revised its standard language regarding patent
rights in clinical trial agreements.  The new language gives Sandoz
all rights to inventions.  Previous agreements provided for either
institutional, joint or Sandoz ownership depending on circumstances.

I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone who was successful in
getting Sandoz to agree to language protective of faculty and
institutional rights to inventions.

Also, if anyone accepted the new language, what was your rationale?
