for student scholarships.  I had asked for a faculty member with a
college-bound daughter, so I have not checked any of these out closely.  I
do know that some are free and others aren't.

 Designed for student use (student develops profile)
 Free searchable database of 180,000 private scholarships
 Some fee-based services also available

4.  Financial Aid Information Page (formerly Carnegie Mellon Finacial Aid Page)
 http://www.finaid.org/
 Extensive database with links, but no serarch capabilities
 Maintained by the financial aid officers' professional organization
