 POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

TITLE:          Information and Publication Coordinator

CATEGORY:               Associate Staff, full time, 12-month appointment

RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordination and dissemination of funding opportunities to
faculty, electronic monthly newsletter, development and maintenance of
electronic faculty research interests profile, provision of individual
consultation to faculty re: funding opportunities to match research interests;
development, implementation, and maintenance of OSPA Home Page, maintenance of
Principal InvestigatorUs Handbook; coordination of OSPA Annual Report, and
provision of training and workshops related to proposal preparation,
subcontracting, and clinical testing agreements.

QUALIFICATIONS: BachelorUs degree in arts and sciences, basic science, or health
sciences, a masterUs degree in library or computer science desirable, but not
required, and at least three years experience in any one of the following areas:
1) library sciences and experience in researching funding sources; 2) grants
management in the preaward area; 3) an individual with work experience in
editing and writing, or 4) in the field of information sciences.

Must have knowledge of Database use and management; internet skills such as:
HTML, FTP, and e-mail; and desktop publishing and word processing.  Computer
skills in a MAC environment will be helpful.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written are essential as well as
excellent interpersonal skills.

SALARY: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
