Sorry about the delay on this response, but I've been at the NCURA ERA
conference in Atlanta. It was GREAT!
Since three different (and all very nice) friends sent me a copy of the
post raving about OmniForms, I thought I'd let y'all know a little bit more
about OmniForm.
OmniForm is only available in a Windows format (both 3.1 and 95). So all
the Mac people are out of luck.
In order to actually fill in forms produced in OmniForm, each user must
purchase individual copies of "OmniForm Filler." In other words, if
somebody wanted to scan in a bunch of agency forms and make them
available at their institution, then everyone on campus who uses them
would have to purchase the Filler software. For smaller places, this is a
great solution, but for places like UCLA, for example, it wouldn't be
feasible.
For more info, go to:

On the same subject, I want to take this opportunity to plug all the efforts
that
have been done at TRAM, TEES, et al. in developing agency form
templates and putting them on the web for downloading. It's incredible.
Also, if you go to TRAM, and they don't have a form that you need, you
might want to create it yourself, and then submit it to TRAM so others can
benefit. TRAM's URL is:

Enjoy! And if you have any additional questions, just drop me a note.
