"Hey, Y'all" . . . . that's what 12 years in Atlanta has done to this former
Maryland resident!! . . .  just wanted to say "thank you" for the many
responses I received to my query about IRIS.  It was extremely helpful.
Decided to try a "trial" subscription before committing to service.  Main
advantage appears to be campus-wide access . .. of course . . . . as they
say . . . you can build it, but they will not come!  Anyway .  . . despite
what you might be seeing in press, most people here seem to be enjoying the
Olympics!  A few "glitches" in the beginning . . . but as one foreigner put
it . . . when you have 40,000 people leaving a stadium at one time, of
course it's going to be crowded on the subways . . . Duh! . . . but no big
deal!  In many ways it's been delightful for  Atlanta residents . .. far
less traffic on roads . . . everyone in town has been "scared" off.  Have to
admit, bomb occurrence was tragic . . . but we continue, in the spirit of
the games!  Thanks again, for your help!
