NCURA's summer conference, "Ushering In A New ERA," will take place
in Atlanta August 9-11.  Detailed information about the conference is
available from the NCURA website at
http://www.crpc.rice.edu/ncura/meetings/.  At this site you will also
find the "Last Updates From the Program Committee" which contains the
latest news and announcements. Such items include everything
from the "dress code" (cool and casual) to the poster sessions and the
roundtable discussions.

If you have NOT yet registered for the conference please note that while
registration is still open, the number of registrants is over 400.
This means that all the lab sessions are full and no rooms are
available at the  Emory Conference Center, the Emory Inn, or in the
dormitory.  The Emory Conference Center is referring registrants to
local hotels in the area.  Meeting room changes have been made to
accomodate more individuals at the concurrent sessions.

Because of the overwhelming response to this particular conference, NCURA is
hoping to host a second conference devoted to electronic research
administration. Watch for further information on this possibility
via NCURA's website.
