We have a situation regarding a participant in an externally funded
project who needs special assistance guaranteed under the Americans with
Disabilities Act.  This has raised a question in regard to charging for
these services in proposal budgets.

If this situation has come up at any of your institutions, I would
appreciate information on how it has been handled. Do you include these
types of charges in your indirect cost pool or have you been adding
these types of charges into your proposal budgets?
