To the group:
We are in the process of updating our home page to include guidelines
for faculty in proposal preparation and internal procedures in grants
management. Most of this info will only be of interest to our PIs, as
opposed to anyone outside of our institution, however, unless we
purposefully decide to restrict access, anyone could surf in and read
up on how we handle rebudgeting, etc. Have any of you had mixed
feelings about publishing such info, and/or decided that there might
be a down side to doing so, such as the ability of government auditors
to easily find your vulnerabilities?
