An Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School and a Senior Scientist at the Eye Research Institute of Retina Foundation for many years , she was funded throughout her academic career primarily by National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants and served as a member of an NIH Study Section. Now president of Tech-Write Consultants/Erimon Associates, she works as a consultant and a writer and gives workshops on grant proposal- writing, time management, and related subjects.
