I have been pleased with the FEDIX Opportunity Alert.  I encourage
 faculty to choose their keywords judiciously and use it -- it's
 free and straightforward.  I've heard grumbling from research
 admin colleagues about the time it takes to complete the
 registration form but the dozen or so faculty who've signed on in
 my office (because they don't have desktop web access) have been
 very happy with it and needed no coaching or encouragement.  Now,
 if only they could add the U.S. Department of Education to their
 agency base!!!

 (When I asked about this at the joint NCURA/SRA Region IV meeting
 this weekend, the rep said they've been talking to Education but
 could use some encouragement from US to get the agency on board.)
