Dear Colleagues:
As the lone commando in this newly formed grants office, I am
in need of some examples of budget narratives. We are currently
working on an education grant that will be shopped around to
various private funders and possibly a federal sponsor. Since
this initiative is not in response to a specific call for proposals,
I don't have a set of forms to follow. What I would like to see are
examples (with sensitive information blacked out) showing a budget
detail or budget narrative for a multi-year project, that includes
the usual categories of personnel, travel, tangibles, etc.  Of
course, I need this RIGHT AWAY. (sorry for yelling). You may respond
privately, or to the list. Thanks for your help. If you supply your
address, I will send you a goodie.
