I am interested in how other universities are doing with respect to
Federal funding this year.

If you see a decline in Federal awards at your institution, do you
attribute this to the effects of the shutdown?

Our new Federal awards are down as of 3/1/96. I attribute
this to the effects of the shutdown, and wondered if others
are experiencing the same thing. Your response will help us assess
the likely outcome of our fiscal year ending June 30.
