I will be conducting a web search for sample institutional
 policies on the disposition of salary savings when, for example, a
 faculty member is released from teaching with grant funds, an
 adjunct is hired for the courses released, and salary savings
 result.  I am interested in policies that clearly direct salary
 savings to the department in which they are generated.

 I would very much appreciate faxed or e-mailed copies of such
 policies, or a nudge toward your web site if you've got just the
