Has anyone ever heard of the "Hereward Lefter Cook Foundation"?

I have a faculty member who would like to approach them.  Evidently,
they give awards to visual artists in mid-career.  She received
some correspondence from them a few years ago which had a return
address in Washington D.C. and another return address in West
Virginia.  Thus far, calls to information in both D.C. and West
Virginia have not resulted in success.  The Foundation Center in New
York has no information and neither Spin nor Iris includes this
foundation in their database.  Has anyone else ever heard of them?
