COMPTROLLER

 The University of Massachusetts Lowell Research Foundation is seeking an
 individual  experienced in
the management of an active full service research accounting office.  Will be
 responsible for the
overall preparation and supervision of monthly financial statements, analyses,
 budgets, forecasts,
project cost accounting, A/R, A/P and payroll. Must have experience in Federal
 Government
accounting regulations, specifically, A21, A110, A133, FAR and other agency
 specific regulations.
Will prepare and negotiate indirect cost rate proposals and provide detailed
 financial management
reports and specific financial reports for Federal and State Agencies.  Requires
 an individual with
experience relative to oversight and implementation of day-to-day aspects of
 integrated
computerized financial systems. Will design new and revise existing accounting
 procedures and
oversee the installation of these procedures and training of personnel. Must be
 capable of working
closely with faculty and investigators.

Individual must have a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) and 5 years of directly
 related experience
and a working knowledge of automated financial systems.
