Since we have have several limited sources of matching,
as well as the "softer" contributions,
we've become concerned about not only documenting awarded project match,
but tracking future obligations. We're working on a network spreadsheet
system that will track both.  It runs on a network version
of Excel, and we've set up specialty spread sheets to project both income
for matching (which is regularly allocated here) and anticipated
obligations in outyears of pending grants....no clue if this is going to
work, but it's lookin' good so far.  Trial departments are working with
us. It's our first attempt at electronic management.
