At UCSF, our on-campus negotiated rate for sponsored research is 47%; for
instruction it is 35.2%; for other sponsored activity (e.g., clinical
trials), it is 29.1%.  As of July of 1998, sponsored research will go to
47.5%.   Our off-campus rate is 26% for all categories.  Hope this is
