The Northeast Region 1 NCURA meeting will take place in Portsmouth NH.
beginning Sunday April 21st through Wednesday April 24th.

THE PROGRAM WILL START WITH  TWO WORKSHOPS ON SUNDAY--ONE ENTITLED
* Research Administration:  Cradle to Grave or is it Soup to Nuts.
This workshop will cover THINGS FROM "Where can I get a grant" to "What do
you mean my cost transfer documentation is not valid".
and the other is:
*HOT TOPICS FOR BIOMEDICAL INSTITUTIONS:  focusing on the issues that make
us unique
This workshop will cover items such as  the latest dilemmas facing IRBs,
time and effort reporting for physicians, interaction with affiliated
institutions and the "business" of conducting clinical trials.

Coopers and KPMG  will have a joint session discussing the many changes in
the financial world of research administration.
