Do any of you have programs in place to support professional staff people at
your university who are involved in external research.  I am trying to come
up with a variety of ideas that will motivate full-time staff personnel to
do research.

We have programs for faculty members such as travel support, publishing and
page charges, sabbatical,and internal competitive grants.

Any help that you can provide, will be greatly appreciated. I will take the
informational and compile a summary of the findings to be distributed across
