Many of our medical school faculty receive part of their salary from the
University and a larger part from their clinical practice.  We would like to
be able to reimburse their practice for time spent on sponsored research
projects but so far have been unable to come up with a mechanism that passes
time and effort audit.

We'd love to learn of experiences -- and solutions -- that other
