Summer REU Opportunity at Ohio University

Ohio University has been awarded a Research Experiences for
Undergraduates (REU) Site grant, and is looking for undergraduate
students to participate in the program for Summer 1996. The faculty
member directing the program asked me to post the following
announcement to the list. Please share thisannouncement with faculty
who may know of undergraduate students who would be interested in a
summer research experience in the field of neuroscience.

A Summer of Neuroscience at Ohio University
A National Science Foundation
Research Experiences for Undergraduates Program
June 17-August 23
The program consists of a two week neuroscience short course and ten weeks of
faculty-mentored laboratory research in neuroscience. Students will be
matched with a faculty mentor on the basis of common interest. Student
participants receive a stipend of $2,600, room and board, and a travel
allowance as needed. Application deadline April 1, 1996. Further information
