In our operations we take a look at when financial reports are due. If
we have a three year project with only one final report due at the end
we will set up one account code. However, if a three year project
requires a report at the end of each year then we set up three account
codes. The reason is to keep them separate especially during that 90
days after termination when costs are still coming in on year 1 at the
same time that they have begun on year 2.
